Dynamesh Mesh Counter With so many mesh counts to choose from, it’s easy to get them confused, especially once the identifying selvage has been removed. This versatile and comprehensive tool takes the guesswork out, showing the mesh count accurately within one thread per inch. It is also valuable for confirming the stretched mesh count, in order to achieve the best possible halftone print. This two-piece set covers the range from 22-528 threads per inch.
As Simple As It Looks?
How to use the Mesh Counter
- Place mesh counter on stretched screen, preferably over the open area.
- Rotate the mesh counter while holding it flat against the fabric. As it is rotated, a moiré pattern will begin to appear.
- The mesh counter will continue to show moiré until the mesh count is found. Then, the corresponding block will change to a solid gray.
